What does "the token used in the request has expired" mean?

Recently, as LinkedIn has been working to improve security on their platform, they changed their API to only keep tokens active for 60 days. The token itself is the connection that facilitates the LinkedIn integration in your karma account. The "Oh snap! the token used in the request has expired" message shows up when the 60 days are up.

The good news is that your LinkedIn account security is improved, because of this. The bad new is that, every two months, you'll have to redo the LinkedIn integration in your karmaCRM or karmaSpeaker account.

However, it's a pretty simple process, so no worries! If you need a reminder on reconnecting your account, see the steps below:

1. Click on your name in the upper right corner and click on "Settings" in the drop down menu.
2. In the list on the right of the "Settings" page, click on "Integrations," near the bottom of the list.
3. From there, click on "Settings" next to LinkedIn in the list of Integrations.

4. Click the little red "delete" button in the upper right corner.

5. Click the red "Disable LinkedIn Integration button in the upper left corner.

6. Click on your name in the upper right corner and click on "Settings" in the drop down menu.

7. In the list on the right of the "Settings" page, click on "Integrations," near the bottom of the list.
8. Then, click on "Install" next to LinkedIn in the list of Integrations and log into your LinkedIn account.
9. After that, click the blue "Allow" button, and you're good to go!
