Manage Categories

This section enables you to organize your files in different folders and sub-folders. This is useful when you have a long list of documents and you need easy reference to access a document depending on its type or category or purpose.

Go to Files section. You can see this option either in main or secondary navigation. (Please see settings of navigation tabs for detailed instructions.)

Click on More drop-down list and select Files option as below.

Add New Folder

Click on New Category button available at the top right side of the page. The new folder is created with default name as New Folder as below.

Specify the name of folder. The folder gets listed the home page, or any folder or sub-folder, depending on which page was opened when you clicked on the New Category button.

You can add one or more files into the folder. (Please see organize folders and files for detailed instructions.)

Edit Folder Name 

When you place the mouse pointer on any folder, click on  icon to edit the corresponding folder. You can change the name of folder. 

Delete Folder

When you place the mouse pointer on any folder, click on  icon to delete the corresponding folder. karmaCRM asks you to confirm whether you want to delete the folder.

Click on Yes button and the folder is deleted. When you delete a folder, all its folders and files that are inside this folder, are deleted. You can take backup before you delete a folder or file, for future reference, if required.

See Files Available in Folder

To see the files or sub-folders available in a folder, click on the name of folder. All files and sub-folders listed in the folder appears.
