Widgets: See and Manage Records

When you add one or more widgets to a tab, you can manage the records of any widget to customize your dashboard view. Click on Dashboard tab as below.

You can create a new tab and add widgets to that tab. The widget title helps you to know what all records you see in that widget. For example: In Contacts widget, you can see the records of contacts, and in Cases widget, you can see the records of cases. (Please see add new widget for detailed instructions.)

Tasks Widget

In this widget, you can see the title of task, the date when task was created, the user who created the task, and the participants of task, as below.

When you place the mouse pointer on any task, you can see the icons to edit and delete the task. You can perform following actions, for each task:

Edit: Click on  icon and you can edit the details of task. The Edit Task window appears and you can make the required changes. (Please see manage tasks for detailed instructions.)

Delete: Click on  icon and the task is deleted

Add Comments: Click on  and you can add the comments for corresponding task.

Mark as important: Click on  to mark the corresponding task as important.  

Close the Task: Select the checkbox available corresponding to the task title to update the status of task as Done. You can also add completion notes for this task. If you want to update the status of task again as undone, click on  refresh icon. 

Add a task: Click on Add a Task button to add new task. (Please see add new task for detailed instructions.)

Cases Widget

In this widget, you can see the name of the case, and the date when case was created. You can also add a new case, as below.

Click on  icon inside the grey circle available at the right of the case title. You can view more information about the case, as below.

Click on the name of the case to see its detail page.

Note: You cannot edit or delete any record in the Cases widget.

Contacts Widget

In this widget, you can see the details of contact such as name, photo, email ID, the date when case was created and the name of user who created the contact. You can also add a new contact, as below.

Click on  icon inside the grey circle available at the right of the contact title. You can view more information about the contact, as below.

Click on name of the contact to see its detail page. (Please see details of contact for detailed instructions.)

Note: You cannot edit or delete any record in the contacts widget.
