Configuring Account Settings

Configuring Account Settings

All of your account settings can be found under the “Account & Settings” menu in the top right corner of karmaCRM. When in doubt about a customization setting, you can usually find it here.

User groups

Under “Accounts & Settings,” select “Groups.” Here, you can create or modify groups of users. User groups allow you to assign contacts, companies, tasks, etc. to an entire group of users in karmaCRM, rather than an individual. Users can belong to one or more groups. This feature makes assigning tasks or contacts to certain groups of users, and not others, a breeze.

Creating a group To create a group, select “New group.” Enter the name of the group, and use the checkboxes to indicate which members are part of the group.

Editing a group To edit a group, select the pencil icon icon next to the desired group. From here, you can change the name of the group or use the checkboxes to alter the membership of the group.

Deleting a group To delete a group, select the red “X” next to the desired group.

Custom fields

KarmaCRM also offers the ability to create custom fields of information for your contacts, companies, and deals. These custom fields can be displayed in your lists and used to filter and organize all of your records. Fields can be text, date, drop-down menu, selection menu, heading, checkbox, or currency.

Email templates

KarmaCRM also allows you to create custom email templates to use in the internal karmaCRM email client. Email templates are form emails that can auto-fill with information from your karmaCRM records such as name, address, phone number, stage, referral source, and even custom fields.
