Integrating a Formstack Form

Formstack is another great hosted form solution

These forms are hosted on their servers and can be embedded in your website as a contact form, or linked to directly from their website.

We've made it easy for you to connect these forms with karmacrm. What this means is that if you have a Formstack powered contact form that generates leads, you can have those leads automatically created in karmaCRM when the form is submitted.

1. Create the Integration on KarmaCRM

As an admin, browse to "Settings >> Integrations" and click New Integration. Select "Formstack" as your provider and enter a name or label for the form.

Once your integration is created, you'll be presented with an webhook URL. Copy this URL down, as you'll need it in the next step.

2. Add the notification to your Formstack form

Login to Formstack, find the form you want to integrate and click settings. If you haven't created one yet this guide will help you get started.

Once in the settings, click Emails & Redirects tab.

Find the After the Form is Submitted section and click the "Click Here to Change" link

Select the "Send Data to an External URL (WebHook)" option, and paste in the webhook URL from KarmaCRM into the webhook url field

If you've used standard fields such as "Name", "Phone", and Address fields present in the form builder, then your setup might be complete. Karma tries to auto-match your form to save you some work. Otherwise head to step 3:

3. Match the Formstack columns with your karmaCRM columns

You'll need a submission from the form, so go ahead and submit a test, then head back to the integrations section of karmaCRM (Settings >> Integrations).

Click the name of the form you are setting up, and you'll be presented with a screen asking you to match the columns.

Match the Formstack field and sample data with your karmaCRM fields, and your form is ready to receive submissions!
