What is the difference between "Gigs" and "Deals"?

Looking at your karmaSpeaker account, you may be wondering why the term "deals" appears in some places while, in others, you see "gigs".

The term "Gigs" refers to any opportunity you may have to speak, whether that opportunity is paid or unpaid. In an effort to tailor our systems to the needs of professional speakers, we opted for "Gigs" rather than "Deals" in the speaker-specific version of the CRM, but the two terms essentially mean the same thing and relate to the same section of your account.

On the other hand, if you see "Deals" in the top navigation bar, feel free to disregard this article, as it will say "Deals" across your account. 👍
